It’s time to end the ‘UK=England’ mentality in charity communications

It was great to have the chance to write a blogpost for CharityComms recently, explaining how and why UK charities should ‘think devolved’ in their communications.

My aim was to offer tips around the main themes that came out of conversations with charity communicators (thanks to all of you who shared your thoughts for the article).

It’s obviously struck a chord, judging by all the shares and feedback I’ve had on LinkedIn!

Let me know your experiences around communicating with audiences across the UK by posting a comment below – is there anything I’ve missed in the article?

And if you’re not familiar with CharityComms, then head over to their website. They offer tonnes of resources and brilliant events for people working in communications in the third sector.
