Awen Cultural Trust is a registered charity which works to make people’s lives better in Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend and Rhondda Cynon Taf. Its work includes running theatres, libraries, community centres, a country house and park and two work-based projects for adults with learning disabilities.
Communications Audit
In 2025 I carried out a communications audit for Awen. This was designed to help them develop a comms strategy, aligned with a new organisational strategy.
The audit included analysis of current communications, interviews with key people and comparison with similar organisations. I compiled a report with recommendations.

Copywriting Training
I provided 1:1 copywriting training for Ffion, Awen’s Libraries Marketing Officer.
