I’ve done a mix of strategic and promotional work for Cynnal Cymru. This has included:
- Working with the team to develop a new public narrative to describe the charity’s work. This includes a review of existing communications, holding a staff workshop to develop messaging, and working with the team to write a new narrative.
Promoting the free Nabod Natur – Nature Wise training, run by the charity and funded by the Coop Foundation. This included developing a ‘comms pack’, including website/newsletter text and social media copy, as well as writing and distributing a press release to targeted Welsh media and copy-editing emails for participants.
- Developing the idea for, and writing, an article for Cynnal Cymru’s website about how Welsh businesses can cut emissions in light of the COP26 conference.
Richard’s experience and support was incredibly helpful in developing our narrative and helping us to communicate our organisational purpose and what we can offer others. He worked with the team and our stakeholders to simplify how we talk about ourselves and also helped us to align internally.
