Carers Trust Wales

Carers Trust Wales aims to shape a better future with – and for – carers in Wales.

The charity contacted me to ask for ideas to engage with young carers, and share their experiences with decision makers.

The Project

Working with the team at Carers Trust Wales, I developed a plan for a short film that could be used in an event and on social media (via shorter clips) – linked to Young Carers Action Day.

There was an opportunity to film the young carers at an event, and I collaborated with the Trust to plan the format for the video, interview questions and ideas for other footage.

I filmed the young carers and edited the videos, using images, music and animations provided by the charity.
