The Welsh Centre for International Affairs (WCIA) inspires people to learn and act on global issues, so everyone in Wales can contribute to creating a fairer and more peaceful world.
The charity commissioned me to prepare and run media training for its staff. The aims were to help them prepare for media interviews, boost confidence and perform well on air.
Drawing on my experience as a TV news reporter and communications manager/spokesperson, I developed online training for the WCIA team. This was tailored to the needs of the three participants.
The day included presentations and discussions, real-world examples and roleplay exercises. I also provided personalised written feedback after the training.
